Redmond is a Research Associate at Perrett Laver in Higher Education and Research Leadership.

Redmond has just completed a Ph.D. in International Relations from University College Dublin and an MSc in International Politics from Trinity College Dublin. His research explored how autocratic regimes use foreign aid flows to increase their control at a subnational level in Sub-Saharan Africa.
