Massarah is a Research Associate at Perrett Laver. Her senior executive search experience includes Higher Education and Social Impact and Environment.
Massarah holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science and History from Lakehead University, an MA in Gender Studies, and an MSc in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. She is currently in the process of completing her PhD in Political Science, with a specialization in International Relations and Gender Studies, at York University in Canada. Massarah's academic interests include issues of Social Reproduction, Transnationalism, Feminist Movements in the Global South, War and the State, and Middle East Politics. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.
Prior to joining Perrett Laver, Massarah held teaching assistant and lecturer positions at York University and Lakehead University. She also worked as a research assistant on government-funded projects and gained valuable consultancy experience working with various NGOs.
