Joe is a Senior Research Associate in the Sports Practice. 

Since joining Perrett Laver, Joe has built up experience working across both executive and non-executive appointments for The Football Association, The England and Wales Cricket Board, as well as many other sports national governing bodies and grassroots sports participation organisations.

He holds both a BA in Ancient History and an MA in International Politics: Global Justice and Ethics from Newcastle University. He was also on a sports scholarship for football during his time there.

His master's research was a content analysis of media sources, exploring how the Black Lives Matter protests influenced the way in which racism was discussed in relation to English football.
