Patrick is a Consultant and Head of Research (Asia Pacific).

He has worked on leadership and research appointments across a range of universities, liberal arts colleges and medical institutes. These include the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Melbourne, Dean of Law at the Australian National University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at the University of Wollongong.

He holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Western Sydney and a PhD in English from the University of Sydney.
