Clara Nelson Strachan

Clara is Principal Researcher and Head of Research (Non-Profits and Social Impact).
Her experience of senior level executive search includes Board, Chief Executive and senior appointments internationally and domestically in the Non-Profits and Social Impact Practice for organisations such as African Women's Development Fund, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Friends of the Earth and RSPB.
She holds a BA in History (International) from the University of Leeds, where she was the recipient of the Milne Dissertation Prize, and an MA in International Relations from the Universidad Torcuato di Tella. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the Institutional Development Department at CIPPEC, an award-winning Argentine public policy think tank, contributed to the IV CELAC-EU Social Cohesion Forum and was a Trainee Policy Officer for the Americas Department at the European External Action Service.
