Carla is a Research Associate at Perrett Laver.

She holds a BA in European Studies from the University of Passau, and an LLM in Law and Politics of International Security from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focused on political extremism, EU peace mediation, and ethnoterritorial conflicts. Prior to joining Perrett Laver, she worked for an NGO based in Washington D.C. where she analysed the intersection between human rights and nuclear energy.

Carla is currently also a human rights researcher for the European Student Think Tank. She is fluent in German and English and speaks conversational French and Dutch.
