University of Hull, Appointment of the Director of Human Resources 9 Jan 2015

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, and working with the Executive and Senior Management Leadership teams, the Director for Human resources has a vital responsibility in contributing to the overall direction and leadership of the University and will play a key role in progressing the University’s change initiatives as the University embarks on delivery of the next phase of its strategic Plan.  The HR Director will develop, co-ordinate and implement strategic HR policies appropriate to supporting and enabling the University’s ambitious agenda.

With a track record of sustained and impressive achievement and leadership at  a senior level, ideally with some experience of higher education, candidates will be able to evidence significant strategic and operational experience within a multi-stakeholder environment. Candidates will have a clear commitment to and empathy for the vision and academic mission and culture of the University.

Salary is competitive with market rate and negotiable on experience.
