Langley Park Learning Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Lewis as their new Chief Executive Officer.
Sarah has been appointed following a rigorous recruitment process led by the executive search firm Perrett Laver, which attracted a large number of very high calibre candidates from across the education sector.
Sarah joins the Trust from the Department for Education where she has served as Director for Early Years and Schools since 2018 and has held national leadership of policy and delivery across a range of portfolios.
Her career at the DfE spans over a decade and previous posts include Deputy Director for Opportunity Areas and Deputy Director for the Education Standards Directorate. Sarah has also led for the DfE on policy development on, and support for, multi-academy trusts and on professional development for school teachers and leaders.
Sarah believes strongly in the power of education to transform a child's life, regardless of their background, and she brings together a strategic vision with great energy and personal warmth.
On her appointment, Sarah said: "I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer of Langley Park Learning Trust.
