Rick is currently Deputy Head at Warminster School. His previous roles include being a Housemaster at Wellington College and Head of English at Brighton College. Rick will be joined at Frensham by his wife Natalie, who is an artist and art teacher, and their two children.
Rick was the Board’s unanimous choice following a rigorous selection process. Throughout the stages of interview he showed enormous energy, passion for the possibilities that Frensham will offer him, as well as an immediate affinity with Frensham’s culture and ethos. We would like to formally thank the members of the Students’ Panel and the Parents’ Panel who interviewed all the candidates and gave the Governors valuable feedback on their findings.
The Board are confident that Rick will help them to build on the outgoing Head's fifteen years of service and achievements. The strength of interest from an exciting range of candidates reinforced to the Board how strong Frensham’s reputation and position within the education community and the local area has become. The Board are looking forward to working with Rick on continuing this progress and on further developing Frensham’s reputation.
