That is why we have worked with Sport England and UK Sport since 2018 to create the Diversity in Sport Leadership programme.
COS Welcomes Lisa Cuevas Shaw as COO and Managing Director
Charlottesville, VA — The Center for Open Science (COS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Cuevas Shaw as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, effective July 19, 2021. Cuevas Shaw brings key competencies to COS with experience accumulated over leadership roles intersecting scholarly publishing and technology. As COO and Managing Director, she will oversee the execution of COS’s overall organizational strategy while advancing operational systems and policies.
Taunton School appoints new Foundation Director
Taunton School has appointed Jack Clark as the new Foundation and Alumni Director. The role of the foundation is to engage a global community of Old Tauntonians, parents and friends to support children at Taunton School by raising funds for bursaries and capital projects. Jack currently holds the role of Development Director at Emmauel School in Claphan, London where he has overseen the number of donor funded means-tested bursaries quadruple and significant growth in alumni participation.

Sussex welcomes first Director of University Operations and Strategic Planning
The University has appointed Kay Jones as the first Director of University Operations and Strategic Planning. Kay will report to Chief Operating Officer, Tim Westlake and will also have a reporting line to the new Provost, Rachel Mills. The role of Director of Planning and Performance was previously held by David Cole, but we have broadened the remit to align with our strategic aims.
