Aminata Cairo and Rosa te Velde to form the Social Justice and Diversity in the Arts research group
The Executive Board of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) has appointed Aminata Cairo as lector and Rosa te Velde as associate lector of the new Social Justice and Diversity in the Arts research group. This AHK-wide dual research group that will start on 1 August is being established by the Executive Board to accelerate research into social justice, inclusion and diversity in the arts. Social justice and diversity in the arts are topic that occupy a prominent place in arts education and in the professional field, and in the vision of the AHK they must also come to the fore more forcefully in research.

Women Deliver Appoints Dr. Maliha Khan as President and Chief Executive Officer
Women Deliver, a leading global advocate for gender equality and women’s health and rights, announced today that Dr. Maliha Khan has been appointed as the organization’s next President and CEO, effective April 4. Dr. Khan most recently served as Chief Programmes Officer of Malala Fund. She succeeds Kathleen Sherwin, who has served as Interim President and CEO for Women Deliver since June 2020.
Chatham House appoints new director and chief executive
The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) is delighted to announce that its new director and chief executive will be Bronwen Maddox, who joins from the Institute for Government. Bronwen Maddox has been the director of the Institute for Government, an independent think tank based in London promoting better government, since September 2016.

Amanda Millar elected Chair of Court
Staff and students at the University of Dundee have elected Amanda Millar as Chair of Court, the University’s governing body.
Joost Frenken new Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering
As from July 1, 2022, Prof. Joost Frenken will be the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) at the University of Groningen. Currently, Frenken is the Director of the Amsterdam-based ARCNL (the Advanced Research Center for Nanolithography). He will succeed Jasper Knoester, who became the Dean of the Faculty of Science at Leiden University last January.
