Heifer International today announces the appointment of Marcia Rasmussen as its new Chief Financial Officer. Rasmussen was appointed from a diverse pool of candidates following a rigorous global recruitment process and replaces Bob Bloom, who retired in October 2021.
Croft's appointment follows an international search conducted in accordance with the appointment policy. In the course of the search, a strong field of candidates was considered. The search committee's unanimous recommendation was taken forward to the faculty for a ratification ballot and of the eligible faculty members who voted, 90.6% voted in support. Her appointment was approved by the Board of Governors on December 9, 2021.
New global and diverse experience has been added to Practical Action’s board of trustees after five new people were added to the team
The new members of the body which oversees the management of the organisation were formally appointed at the Annual General Meeting on December 8. The move will enhance the board’s digital development and entrepreneurial skills, and create greater diversity of geography and backgrounds.
