Overview

Perrett Laver has extensive experience of recruitment to Chief Executive-level and senior executive roles across a range of organisations within the wider creative and cultural sector.

These have included a number of roles specifically within museums, galleries and multi-disciplinary arts spaces, such as the appointment of the Chief Executive of the National Museum of Science and Industry and Director of the Science Museum, the General Director for Kings Place and the Chief Executive for the National Marine Aquarium. Our experience also extends to the finding senior individuals for trusts and foundations in the arts and cultural arena, finding senior executives for, amongst others, the Legacy Trust and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Perrett Laver’s strong track record in education has also offered us the opportunity to assist with recruitment at the interface of academic and practitioner development in the creative and cultural industries, across a wide range of disciplines, from music to textiles and design. These have included the Principals of the Royal College of Music, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and the Central School of Speech and Drama, as well as Deans and Heads of Departments within universities across the UK. Perrett Laver has also worked with organisations advocating the advancement of society culturally and intellectually, having assisted on the recruitment to the Chief Executives of the RSA and the Royal Society.
