Perrett Laver are delighted to be working with Crossref on the appointment of their Director of Member and Community Outreach

CrossRef is an independent, not-for-profit membership organization of global scholarly publishers. CrossRef develops shared infrastructure to support more effective scholarly communications and promotes the cooperative use of new and innovative technologies to speed and facilitate scholarly research. We provide a wide spectrum of services for identifying, locating, linking to, and assessing the reliability and provenance of scholarly content. While our membership is comprised of publishers, we increasingly collaborate with the entire research community - researchers, funders, universities, vendors and third-party developers - for preserving and ensuring the integrity of the scholarly communications record. CrossRef is looking for a new Director of Member and Community Outreach. The role will support the overall health and growth of CrossRef's community, develop our policies and processes to meet the needs of CrossRef as it expands internationally, and work across teams to set and prioritize goals for addressing member and community needs. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communications and/or marketing professional experienced in digital media, international communications and delivering complex messages to a wide range of stakeholders. They will be a strategically minded self-starter capable of delivering a clear image of CrossRef to its members and the wider scholarly community.
