Griffith University appoints Head of the School of Environment 14 Oct 2014

Griffith University has appointed Professor Chris Frid as the new Head of the School of Environment.

Professor Frid joins from the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Liverpool.

From a foundation discipline of the university, the School of Environment has developed a nationally and internationally established reputation for excellence in teaching, research and engagement with the community, and in its innovative and interdisciplinary approach to environmental education, scholarship and research. Programs integrate the social and cultural contexts with the biological and physical sciences, covering fields of environmental science; environmental and urban planning; architecture; environmental management, policy, and sustainability; water resource management; and marine science and wildlife studies.
