Supported by substantial investment in accompanying posts at Lecturer and Senior Lecturer levels, the Professors named across the three Faculties will take on the responsibility and the ambition of lifting a research-intensive University into the upper echelons of global excellence. Queen's will take advantage of existing interdisciplinary links in order to build critical mass across a huge variety of research and teaching areas. Whilst pushing an international institution to the very forefront of global discourse, both economic and intellectual; and of contributing to the thought leadership of one of the most culturally vibrant regions of the world.
