Solutions to society’s biggest problems will increasingly call for leadership that transcends traditional sectoral boundaries and brings unprecedented levels of innovation and entrepreneurship into the mainstream. With this in mind, we have developed a new model of executive search at the interface between the private and not-for-profit sectors that focuses on the interdisciplinary area of the environment and sustainability.
We have long been known for our creative and research-intensive approach, founded on our investment in the highest quality colleagues who are given the maximum opportunity for the development of real expertise across a range of sectors. Our involvement with governments, companies, academia, policy makers, and NGOs makes us ideally suited to identify leaders who can address the fundamental challenges facing our world through identifying solutions that will draw upon the expertise of all sectors.
We have produced incredibly varied fields of candidates that have led to significant appointments. Our work has included finding the Royal Society’s advisor on climate change; securing a high profile global environmentalist to lead one of the world’s top science museums; advising on the appointment of the UK government’s top science policy advisor to head up the Smith School at Oxford; and approaching a joint Nobel Prize winner to found Tesco’s Sustainable Consumption Institute at the University of Manchester.
Perrett Laver embraces the role we can play in shaping wider society by building this group of global leaders for change.
